Salad "Straws"


A simple, mouth-watering cabbage salad with cheese will be a great addition to lunch or dinner. I prefer to cook this salad with red cabbage (but, of course, you can cook with white cabbage). An excellent combination of the available ingredients in this dish is sure to appeal to you!

Ingredients:
- 300 g of red cabbage (can be replaced with white cabbage),
- 150 g of sausage cheese or pigtail cheese (whoever does not like sausage, he can use a hard variety),
- 3 chicken eggs,
- garlic to taste,
- mayonnaise to taste,
- ground black pepper
- salt.

Cooking:
1. Finely chop the cabbage. Pour boiling water, after half a minute drain and pour over cold water. Fold in a colander to remove water. If you use white cabbage or Beijing cabbage, then you do not need to pour boiling water over it. If the white cabbage is hard, then it should be slightly mashed.
2. Add cheese chopped into thin strips and garlic passed through a press.
3. Boil eggs and cut into strips and add to other ingredients.
4. Season with mayonnaise or the sauce that you like more, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Salad ready!
